First Series Match Target, shipped to LtCol Julian Hatcher
This Woodsman is in absolutely new condition, along with the box, papers, test target, and tools. It was shipped to LtCol Julian Hatcher in Aberdeen, MD in June, 1938. LtCol Hatcher (later Major General) was a long time technical editor of The American Rifleman and author of Hatcher's Notebook, among many others.
This Woodsman was featured on the cover of the February, 1986 Guns magazine. That issue had an article by Mike Nesbitt about my collection and included many other photos and descriptions.
